The UCLA Stroke Center/Neurovascular Program supports a wide-ranging research program to pioneer and refine new diagnostic modalities and treatments for cerebrovascular disease. Clinical research programs seek to discover new insights into the treatment of disease of the nervous system. Through clinical trials, laboratory findings are applied to a specific patient population using carefully defined criteria and tracking mechanisms. New advances lead to new therapies, prevention and cure.
